
…rates Ekiti high in ease-of-doing business
A group under the aegis of Beer, Wine, Food and Drink Sellers Association of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter, has joined the wave of endorsements across the state to endorse Governor Biodun Oyebanji for another tenure.
The group, dressed colourfully in their attire, with various inscriptions on their placards to display support for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji, staged a walk across the streets of the state capital which culminated at the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti.

Moving the endorsement motion, Chairman of the association, Ogundare Williams said the show of solidarity is a testament to Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to the welfare of Ekiti residents.
According to him, the Oyebanji’s administration has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of Ekiti people noting that the endorsement for the governor’s second term ambition was not made in vacuum.

He emphasized that the governor’s numerous interventions, from the creation of an enabling business environment for their daily trade to direct financial empowerment for struggling members has ranked the state as one of the best in ease-of-doing business.
Responding, Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Abibat Adubiaro lauded their gesture as a clear demonstration that the Governor’s impact is being felt even among the informal sector, noting that their open support is a testimony that governance under Oyebanji is not a show of elitism, but grassroots-driven and inclusive.

Other top government functionaries present at the event include; Special Adviser on Political and Inter-party Affairs, High Chief Jide Awe, Special Adviser on Governance, Odunayo Ayeni, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Oso-Omotosho, among others.
