…seven sub-committee created
The BAO State Endorsement Committee headed by a former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko, has released the full list of its members to coordinate a State-wide unified confirmation of the will of people in the State for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The full list of the 48-member committee was released in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday, jointly signed by the Chairman, Surveyor Aluko and Secretary, Rt Hon Karounwi Oladapo.
The Central Planning Committee also created additional seven sub-committee for the success of the highly-anticipated grand endorsement for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji.
While the Committee Chairman, Surveyor Aluko heads the budget (Central Organizing Committee), Senate Leader, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele was named Chairman of the Fund Raising sub-committee.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Brig. General Ebenezer Ogundana (rtd) was appointed as the Chairman of the Security sub-committee and Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun was made Chairman of the Media sub-committee, while House of Representatives member, Hon. Femi Bamisile heads the Mobilization and Entertainment.
The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adeoye Aribasoye heads the Venue sub-committee while the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Oyebanji Filani is the Chairman of the Medical sub-committee.
Recall that the move followed the unanimous endorsements of Governor Oyebanji’s second term in office by critical Stakeholders from each of the three senatorial districts in the Ekiti State as well as a number of groups and individuals including the State Caucus of All Progressives Congress (APC) which is the highest organ of the party in the state, the State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), all Primary School Teachers in the 16 Local Government Areas of the State, the State Chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Students and youth groups as well as communities and traditional chiefs across the state.
