
Residents of Ido Ekiti , Ido- Osi local government and Ifaki Ekiti ,Isokan Local Council Development Authority have lauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State for his impactful inclusive leadership style in the state.
Some of the residents stated this in Ido-Ekiti and Ifaki-Ekiti during yet another edition of BAO Street Connect by the Bureau of Community Communications for Ido-Osi LGA and Isokan LCDA respectively.

Addressing the residents of Ido-Osi and Isokan, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Oso – Omotosho said BAO Street Connect is a grassroots-driven communication initiative championed by Governor Oyebanji, through the Bureau to bridge communications gap between the government and the grassroots.
Omotosho, who highlighted the achievements of Governor Oyebanji said the program is geared towards getting the pulse of the people in the various communities in ensuring that they see themselves as stakeholders in governance.

In his address, member, representing Ido-Osi Constituency 1 in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Babatunde Fawekun commended the Bureau of Community Communications for organizing the program saying that the reception of the people signifies the acceptability of the government of Oyebanji.
His words: “This is a very good one. It is a way of getting feedback from the community. You could see the acceptability of people and they really accept the governor. What this means is that every efforts of the government is being felt directly by the people.
“There is a road that has been abandoned for over 30 years and work has begun on the road. The people of Ido-Osi have really felt the impact of the governor.”

Similarly, Chairman of Ido-Osi local government, Bamidele Omoleye heaped praises on Governor Oyebanji for his developmental strides in the state, particularly in Ido-Osi.
According to him, the recently flagged off Ido-Ipere-Iludun road by the administration of Governor Oyebanji has brought succour to the people of the area adding that other sectors of the economy are not left behind.
Omoleye said: “We are very grateful to Governor Oyebanji for the great thing that is happening in our local government. The people are trooping out to celebrate the impact of the governor despite that we are not yet in electioneering campaign period .
“He just flagged off Ido-Ipere-Iludun road and work is ongoing tremendously. That singular road is a very great thing of joy to Ido-Osi community because that is the road that can lead Ido-Osi to Ipere, which is another local government.
“We can see the impact of the governor in all the maternity hospitals across Ido-Osi and the general hospital in Ifaki-Ekiti. The governor is paying salaries even the last month of April was paid before Easter despite .”

Speaking at Ifaki-Ekiti, Chairman of Isokan LCDA, Kayode Ogundaisi seized the opportunity to reaffirm the support of Isokan people behind the re-election of Governor Oyebanji for second term in office.
According to him, “the government of Oyebanji has done a lot in the state and we want him to continue the various projects he has started in the state.

Corroborating the Isokan LCDA Chairman, a resident of Ifaki-Ekiti from Akerele Motunrayo showered encomium on the governor for his all-inclusive governance saying that he has showcased the true spirit of Omoluabi in governing the state.

The event which attracted top government functionaries and residents across different political affiliations also featured the distribution of free food items and side attractions including games, dance competition, among others while winners won cash gifts and consolation prizes.
