Some residents of Ekiti State have commended Governor Oyebanji’s infrastructure projects across the state.
They said the development would boost the state economy and attract foreign investors.
They called in to commend Governor Oyebanji’s transformative development strides during the 5th edition of a radio program, ‘SETIGBO’ that shone a spotlight on his work in the state
Reflecting on the Governor’s recent recognition as the 2023 Governor of the Year in Community Development by the Daily Independent Newspaper, guests on the program, the Director General Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho and SSA to the Governor on Public Affairs, Chief Niyi Ojo, highlighted the significance of the award.
They emphasized that the award underscores the Governor’s substantive achievements on community development .
They praised the governor for his commitment to workers welfare, saying that this would bring productivity among them.
To empower local communities and artisans , they revealed that Governor Oyebanji has mandated contractors and business owners to prioritize Ekiti youths in employment and utilize locally sourced materials.
“In less than two years, Governor Oyebanji has surpassed expectations, propelling Ekiti towards becoming a model of development admired globally. They highlighted various milestones, including restoration of electricity to long-neglected communities, extensive road construction efforts, comprehensive school renovations, and educational support benefiting over 100 schools.
