…Oyebanji is futuristic, strategic about Ekiti development – Omotosho
The Director General, Bureau of Tourism Development in Ekiti State, Wale Ojo-Lanre has assured local and international investors of high return on investment when they tap into the rich business opportunities in the state.
The DG gave the assurance on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti during the interactive S’etigbo multicast anchored by the Bureau of Community Communications.
According to him, the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji has created a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for investors to thrive and emphasized tourism as a driver for economic diversification.
His words: “We have to thank the personality and the aura of the governor of the state for having the aura of attracting investors. Four weeks ago, a team of investors came all the way from Brazil and they visited Ogun Groove. They are looking at the possibility of taking a recreation centre around the concept of Ogunsim in Ekiti State.
“Before that, another group from United States were in Arinta Waterfall to see how they can invest in it. We have to thank the governor for making Ekiti a secured place and making the environment conducive for investment.
“When you invest in Ekiti, the ROI is high. We have about six universities, five polytechnics, college of education. Ekiti is at the melting point between here and Abuja. Investing in Ekiti will guarantee you a very ROI and so we are blessed.
“Festivals are growing up in Ekiti State because this place is peaceful. In the last two years, Ita Ajero debuted last year and it was marked last month. It was adjudged as one of the best, well organized, well attended, well choreographed. We had the iconic Udiroko festival that ended peacefully.”
Also, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho, who was a guest on the program, highlighted the achievements of the governor in line with the six-pillar mantra of his administration.
She described Oyebanji as a peace-loving governor and a man of integrity , who has exemplified purposeful leadership through people-centered policies adding that he is futuristic and strategic about the development of the state.
Omotosho also highlighted the achievements of the governor in just less than three years in office especially in road construction,saying that no Governor in Ekiti State has ever constructed the number of roads which the governor has constructed within the spate of two and half years .
While calling on the people of the state to ignore the ongoing sponsored blackmail against the Governor on social media as the electioneering process approaches lauding the governor for being a good symbol of continuity.
