Ekiti ring road will unlock new economic corridors – Fatukasi

…as DG Community Communications describes Oyebanji as chief promoter of Ekiti State

The Technical Advisor on Road Infrastructure to the Ekiti State Governor, Tope Fatukasi has said that the ongoing ring road project in the State will unlock new economic corridors and position the state as a gateway to regional commerce.

He stated this on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti during the interactive S’etigbo multicast powered by the Ekiti State Bureau of Community Communications.

The Technical Advisor said that the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji is committed to providing the dividends of democracy to the people in the area of roads infrastructure adding that professionalism is his watchword towards ensuring that the projects stand the test of times.

His words: “The Ring Road Project is another infrastructural masterstroke under Governor Oyebanji. Beyond traffic decongestion, the project is set to unlock new economic corridors, link agrarian communities to market centers, and facilitate swift access to the Agro Cargo Airport.

“It will open up Ado Ekiti and surrounding towns to increased investment, ensure seamless movement of agricultural produce, and position Ekiti as a true gateway to regional commerce. It is not just a road; it is a roadmap to industrial rebirth.

“He is a man that is dedicated to the work and he is a person that listens to the professionals. He is a governor of the people in the sense that he believes in the professionalism of engineers and bringing democracy in terms of roads infrastructure to the doorstep of everybody.

“People that are not even engineers can testify to the kind of job we are doing presently in Ekiti State. The governor will not even override our interest. Severally, when people go to report to him, the governor will tell them to go and listen to us.”

Earlier, Director General of the Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho outlined the giant strides of the state governor in the tourism sector describing him as the chief promoter of Ekiti State.

She further explained that the the recent endorsement by the Ekiti APC caucus is a testament of his administration’s developmental strides to the people of the state noting that the governor is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises.

Her words: “Any state with tourism potential must annex it for economic buoyancy. Governor Oyebanji realized this immediately, he assumed office, and he has been doing everything humanly possible to promote and invest in tourism development. In fact, Ekiti has become a point of contact for other states owing to its rich tourism heritage and government support for it to thrive and contribute to the overall development of the state.

“Governor Oyebanji isn’t just committed to the welfare of workers but to every resident of the state. Those who witnessed the Governor’s campaign can attest that he has remained faithful to his promises.

“The recent endorsement by the Ekiti APC caucus isn’t the first. It was simply another affirmation that they are solidly behind the Governor, not just for political reasons but because of his tangible developmental strides, people-first approach, and his Omoluabi nature that has restored unity and maturity to leadership in the state.”
