Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has reiterate his commitment to community development.
He stated this while given financial support to Orungbe and Omi-Olori communities, in Ado Ekiti on their self sponsored road projects .
The governor who spoke through the Director General Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotoso emphasized the government’s responsibility to provide social amenities to the people
Governor Oyebanji who explained that communities in the state face various challenges, caused by environmental neglect, lack of infrastructure or social amenities, said that his administration remains committed to addressing them all.
While it is the government’s responsibility to provide amenities, Governor Oyebanji appreciated the initiative of Orungbe and Omi-Olori to embark on projects that benefit the entire community.
He said the support is temporary, and further developments will follow soon.
The Chairmen Landlord Association of the two Communities thanked Governor Oyebanji for his support and praised his commitment to grassroots development.
