
Residents of Tungba Community, along Old Iyin Road, Iyin Ekiti on Saturday came out in their numbers to endorse Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for a second term in office.
Speaking during the endorsement, chairman of the community, Mr. Obelewaji Sanya, noted that they believe deeply in Oyebanji’s leadership adding that they can see all around them, the impact he is making across the state.
He said: “We are not here because of what we have received. We are here because we believe in Governor Oyebanji’s genuine commitment to development. He works with a clear sense of priority. We trust that as long as he remains in office, our turn will surely come.”
Addressing the people of the community, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, Director-General, Bureau of Community Communications, described the endorsement as both humbling and inspiring.

She assured residents that Mr. Governor is aware of their needs, and that inclusive governance remains a top priority of the administration.
Other community representatives who spoke also reiterated the fact that they are not endorsing for immediate gains, but for continuity of credible leadership, consistent progress, and hope for inclusion.
They said that when a leader is working, you don’t replace him; you strengthen his mandate, and that was exactly what the endorsement was all about.
