The Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Youth Development, Amb. Maxwell Olu-Ajayi in collaboration with the Office of Community Communications has organized a town hall engagement for youths in Aiyekire Local government and Gbonyin LCDA.
Speaking at the programme, Amb Olu-Ajayi noted that the event demonstrated the governor’s commitment to youth development in the state.
He explained that the program provided a platform to share key information and opportunities with local youths, aligning with Governor Oyebanji’s focus on inclusivity and ensuring grassroots engagement, especially among young people.
Amb. Olu-Ajayi highlighted Governor Oyebanji’s dedication to creating opportunities for Ekiti youth across all sectors, prioritizing youth development as the cornerstone of his 6-point development agenda.
Seeking better access to information, the SA youth encouraged the youths to engage with the Office of Community Communications.
On her part, the Director General, Community Communications, Ekiti State, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotoso promised to remain involved in partnership that bring development to Ekiti youth.
In separate interviews, some of the youths who spoke with Community mirror reporters praised the governor for restoring power , a move that spurred economic growth and financial empowerment for young entrepreneurs in the area.a
They also requested increased engagement, especially from local elected officials.
