The Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho, has lauded former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kayode Oladele, popularly known as ‘Kaybobo’ for placing the state positively on the global map.
Omotosho showered encomium on the reality TV superstar when he paid a courtesy visit to her office, on Monday, in Ado-Ekiti, during a brief colourful ceremony
The DG noted that the achievement of the Ekiti-born International basketball superstar will motivate Ekiti youth and assured him of the commitment of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration to support his programs and activities in the state.
Her words: “I am proud that you are doing this. A whole lot of our people who have become famous would feel reluctant to identify with their root. What you have done today, you have made your family proud.
“We will give you the needed support here in Ekiti. You are our own, we are proud of you. Whenever you need our support, we will go all out for you.
“You are a shining example to the youth. The youth organization should hold you very well and ensure that they create programs around you so that they can draw from your wealth of experience because you have done well.”
Responding, the BBNaija Star extended gratitude to the state government for delivering the dividends of democracy to the masses and pledged to give back to the state.
The delegation of the reality TV star include, political office holders, family members, leadership of groups and associations, enthusiastic fans, among others.
