The residents, who gave the commendation during the endorsement ceremony for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji, lauded his leadership, vision and commitment for a prosperous Ekiti.
Chairman of the community, Samuel Adetilehin said the decision of Governor Oyebanji’s administration to rehabilitate the major road in the community, will eradicate the hardship people suffer while plying the road.
The chairman further noted that the state governor has remained committed to the development initiatives that has repositioned the state on the path of progress.
His words: “We cannot but lift our voices in gratitude to Almighty God for raising Governor Oyebanji, at this very crucial period of Ekiti restoration. He is not just the Governor of Ekiti State but also a landlord of Paradise Community-our pride, our shining light, and our worthy ambassador.
“Your Excellency, we appreciate your giant strides in Ekiti State the numerous infrastructural, social, and economic interventions that have repositioned our dear state on the path of progress.
“Specifically, Paradise Community will remain forever grateful for the rehabilitation of our major community road. That singular intervention has brought immense relief to our residents and visitors. It has improved access into the community, raised property values, boost business opportunities, reduced travel time, and enhanced overall safety for commuters.”
The residents, who converged in their numbers, unanimously endorsed the governor for second term in office and pledged their total and unflinching support to the administration for a more-prosperous Ekiti State.
In his address, Chairman of Ado-West local council development area, Aladesanmi Adebolu commended the residents for standing behind the governor’s second term ambition and urged them to get their voter cards.
Responding on behalf of the governor, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho appreciated them for the endorsement, charging them to remain united and keep supporting the government.
“They should remain united, be positive about the government and also support the government the way they have been doing. They should continue to expect more than what they have gotten from the government.
“It is unique and it is something that we have been witnessing since this government clocked three years. The governor is humbled by this because it shows the trust the people have in the government.
“If non-partisan people are endorsing him, if community members are endorsing him, these speaks to the values that the people place on him and it speaks to the award given to the governor last year as Champion of Grassroots Development in Ekiti State.
“The governor is grateful and appreciative of this show of love. He will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy that will also spur the communities across Ekiti State to do more in terms of support for the governor.”
