…as Tompolo inaugurates Ekiti PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027, distributes campaign vehicles
Ahead of the 2027 general election, Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Thursday, declared that the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 will yield bountiful votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The governor, who spoke in Ado-Ekiti during the inauguration of the Ekiti State chapter of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 and distribution of campaign vehicles for the re-election of the President said that anyone who is against the re-election of the president is an enemy of the country.
“Anybody that is campaigning for the re-election of President Tinubu loves Nigeria and whoever is opposing his re-election is an enemy of this country.”
Governor Oyebanji assured that the state will deliver record-breaking votes for President Tinubu in January 2027 general election to surpass the over 85% votes cast during his re-election in June 2026.
While challenging Ekiti electorates to intensify efforts in the campaign for the president in all the nooks and crannies of the state, the governor reiterated that the state has benefitted immensely from President Tinubu’s administration.
“This is a big challenge for us in Ekiti because if someone from the Niger Delta put up a structure and as today you have visited 19 states and you are still going to visit other states before the end of the campaign. I challenge all of us here because they are doing this for our kinsman, father, leader and brother.
“That President Tinubu will win Ekiti is not in contention but it is by how much. I consistently used to tell Ekiti people that we are 30 years as a state and there is no President that has been this fair, this better than President Tinubu.
“The only way I will be able to serve is if President Tinubu is re-elected. The only way we can thank him is to come out and vote for him. The mistake that happened in June shouldn’t repeat itself. You have provided the facility to do this. We have to go and locate the voters. I am grateful for the movement because you are really doing a campaign.
“We assure you that your investment in Ekiti State won’t be in vain. Ekiti will do well and will be outstanding in our returns in January. A committee will be put in place and we will also monitor the activities of the people that will be using this vehicle. We will put it in use immediately and the purposes will be met.”
On his part, the founder and convener of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, represented by Kestin Pondi said the movement is ready to deliver massive votes for the president’s re-election across the country.
He noted that the movement is motivated to canvass and support the president owing to his reformation agenda anchored on the Renewed Hope Agenda adding that the team has toured 19 states so far.
He urged Ekiti electorates to support and re-elect the president for him to consolidate on his reformation agenda adding that 25 vehicles were donated to mobilise voters for the president across the state.
His words: “We owe President Tinubu a second term and no reform can be accomplished in just three and half years. For our President to do well, we need to support him to consolidate his reformation agenda so that when this reformation is consolidated, we will know that Nigeria is getting better.
“We are here to help you to mobilise all the available votes for your brother. That’s why we have brought these vehicles. These vehicles are to move from Door-to-Door, from unit-to-unit, from ward-to-ward, from LGA-to-LGA, from state-to-state, from constituency-to-constituency, church-to-church, mosque-to-mosque all in the bid to garner all the available votes in Nigeria for President Tinubu.”
Highlights of the mega campaign rally was the formal handover of the vehicles to the governor and inauguration of the state chapter of the movement.
