The inauguration of the BAO State Endorsement Committee for the state-wide unified confirmation of the will of the people in the state for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been scheduled for Thursday.
In a statement by the Secretary of the committee, Rt. Hon. Karounwi Oladapo, the inauguration is scheduled for Thursday, 29th May, 2025 at Lady Jibowu’s Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti at 10am.
Recall that a 48-member committee headed by a former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko had released the full list of its members to coordinate the grand endorsement.
The Central Planning Committee also created additional seven sub-committee for the success of the highly-anticipated grand endorsement for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji.
The move followed the unanimous endorsements of Governor Oyebanji’s second term in office by critical Stakeholders from each of the three senatorial districts in the Ekiti State as well as a number of groups and individuals including the State Caucus of All Progressives Congress (APC) which is the highest organ of the party in the state, the State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), all Primary School Teachers in the 16 Local Government Areas of the State, the State Chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Students and youth groups as well as communities and traditional chiefs across the state.
