The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, Ekiti State Chapter, has bestowed the prestigious Excellence in Public Service Leadership Award on the Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho, in recognition of her exceptional dedication to public service.
The award, presented during a formal visit of the state executives of the union, at the office of the Director General, on Tuesday, acknowledged her tremendous contributions in promoting the achievements of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Chairman of JUSUN in Ekiti State, Comrade Adetunla James extolled Omotosho’s leadership and outstanding dedication to public service in the state.
According to him, the commitment of the Director General in the course of discharging her duties in the administration of Governor Oyebanji has greatly contributed to the growth and integrity of the state.
He described her as an “iron woman who is committed to the welfare of the citizens in the state and you are dedicated in discharging your duties.”
Receiving the award, Omotosho appreciated the body for recognising the efforts of her office in promoting the achievements and shared prosperity agenda of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.
While pledging to continually partner with the body towards the growth and development of the state, the DG noted that the honour will serve as a boost to her continued commitment in promoting the activities of the Oyebanji-led administration at the grassroots level.
