…says Oyebanji’s works speaks for him
Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Stephen Aribasoye has declared that the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is the only way for progressive development in Ekiti State.
Speaking on Wednesday, during the interactive Ṣé O Mọ BAO Dáadá multicast, Aribasoye noted that the good works of the governor is the driving force behind the clamour for his re-election.
The Speaker, who doubles as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the BAO Primary Election Campaign Committee in Ikole LGA, declared that the people are solidly behind him ahead of the October 27 governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress.
He said: “Governor Oyebanji’s works speaks for him. His humility and conducts speaks for him. People everywhere are speaking about him and I can tell you this election is for BAO to win. It’s all about BAO everywhere and the atmosphere is even favourable to him. People are talking about their wards and the only person they know is BAO.
“I moved around the wards in Ikole local government and I can tell you people are clamouring for the return of BAO. He is contesting as governor for governor in Ekiti State and it’s all about to consolidate on our gains. We have seen the effects of continuity in government and that is exactly what we need.”
He emphasized that the governor’s second term is aimed at consolidating on the gains and progressive developments in line with the administration’s six-pillar mantra.
“Beyond that, even BAO has performed excellently well. People are the ones clamouring for him to return. BAO should even go and sleep because the people are for him and with him and they are ready to vote him in the coming election.
“We don’t need any arrested development in Ekiti State. We want progressive development and the only way is continuity and consolidation. We want progressive development in tourism, agriculture, health, education, infrastructure and human capital development. We can see that it is evident, payment of salaries regularly. He has proven himself to be a reliable leader and that is why Ekiti want him one more time.”
