Ekiti Announces Major Road Diversions, Begins Second Flyover 

The Ekiti  State Government has cautioned motorists and other road users in and around Ado-Ekiti, to be patient and observe traffic as it hints on the commencement of a second Flyover in the state capital.

Alhaji Gani Titilope, the Permanent Secretary  Ministry of Works,  in a statement, said major traffic would soon be affected in Ado-Ekiti to allow for a smooth takeoff of the project.

He explained that the action is to minimize traffic gridlocks, prevent avoidable accidents, and check undue interference in construction works.  

Specifically, the Permanent Secretary said,” Traffic flow from Akure/Ikere road will be diverted through Agric Olope to Odo Ado to Poly Road to Oke-Ila to Afao road, Okuta Gbokuta to Stadium, Okeisha, Dallimore road.
