It was a day of praise and worship as various gospel artistes alongside preachers converged at Christ Apostolic Church, Ajasegun, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State for a special praise concert tagged ‘Atobijulo.’
Hosted by the anointed minstrel, Tosin Adeleye, the power-packed concert featured deep, electrifying, heaven-moving worship experience as worshippers received God’s showers of blessings.
Prophet M. A. Abiola, popularly known as Baba Ajasegun of CAC Ajasegun, Ado Ekiti, other ministers of God and gospel artistes, blessed the congregation with their heavenly sounds and impartation of the word of God.
Prophet Abiola, who gave thanks to the Almighty God for making the event a reality, eulogized the convener for yielding to the call of God and described her as “very humble and someone who truly fears God.”
On her part, Minstrel Adeleye said the concert was conceived out of the burning desire to create an atmosphere where lives will be touched and hearts are opened through unique sounds and spiritual depths.
The Lady Evangelist, a faithful devotee of CAC, appreciated her spiritual fathers, mentors and eminent personalities for gracing the epoch-making event and revealed that the video album of her sound tracks will be launched soon.
The Royal Father of the Day and the first Oloja Owa of Owatedo Ekiti in Ijero Local Government, Oba David Olawumi Olofinlade, showered encomium on the convener for answering the call and urged youths to harness their God-given talents.
According to him, “The greatest achievement any youth can make in life is discovering his or her purpose in life. Once your purpose is discovered, you will have a smooth running. I want to encourage all the youths to discover their purpose. She has discovered her purpose and that’s why she is making it in life.”
The event attracted the esteemed presence of the Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho, who commended Minstrel Adeleye for impacting lives through her melodious songs.
She praised gospel artistes in the state for uniting and supporting each other under one umbrella noting that the state is blessed to have an array of talented and gifted gospel artistes whose songs have continually bring revival in the land and the body of Christ.
